The best part about going away now that I have a child is coming home to a little person who is so, so very excited to see you. The first thing out of his mouth as he ran into my arms is "I missed you Mommy!", followed by "I missed you Mommy lots!".
Conversations are definitely getting very funny now - two examples from today;
After the I missed you moment;
Me: I brought you a present baby.
Wyatt: What is it?
Me: A tool kit so you can fix your tractors. (showing him)
Wyatt: (handing to mouth, gasping) Just what I always wanted, forever!
Then as we were getting dinner made;
Wyatt: Mommy, can we have 'ssert? (aka dessert)
Me: We could, but once we have supper.
Wyatt: Yippee. I know. We should go to Granny's.
Me: Oh?
Wyatt: We go Granny's and get cookies. Then we have them for 'ssert. That good idea?
He certainly has it cased that Granny's is the place for cookies!
Will be back with more later or tomorrow. I am going to make it my Spring resolution to post more. And I have lots of fun stuff to share after a fantastic weekend in Saskatoon.

How funny is that! I know, my kids missed me too -- even though I was still around a tiny bit. :) It was good to meet you IRL, and I'm looking forward to cropping with you again. :)
