I am going to show a few of the projects I made over the next couple of days and intend to start posting more regularly as a way to keep myself working on projects and pages. My absolute favorite project I made over the weekend is the wooden letters we decorated. Laura Lee Harms, the instructor for the class I took is about as awesome a person as you will ever meet. She makes the coolest picture frames and wooden letters that can be painted, altered, decoupaged, basically finished in any way to suit your decor. They are cut out of MDF and fantastic to work with. I made 3 of her frames for Christmas presents and have 3 more now, plus some large M's to work on. She just started up a blog for her business Cut Your Way. Check it out - the prices are extremely reasonable and I know she will ship them (although shipping maybe be pricey due to the weight).
So, here is my word - "home". I covered the letters in paper from the Basic Grey line Urban Prairie. It suits my house colors really well. I think it will end up in my kitchen or living room, once I finish painting those two rooms. I added some miscellaneous ribbon (unknown and Making Memories), Kaiser Craft Bling, Basic Grey chipboard and die cuts, plus Making Memories letter stickers. I think I am still going to go back and either Crackle Accent or Glossy Accent the chipboard bird and bee.

Very nice. Wanna do the letters of my last name for me? (*snicker*)
Sarah, you are the coolest chick! I had such a blast in S'ktoon with you ladies...it was my pleasure to instruct you in the class. Love them, by the way! Hope to see the finished product of the other frames you ordered...will be watching and waiting to see them.
